WHO WE ARE

LIONS GROUP OF COMPANIES is a consortium of six enterprises based in Ethiopia, primarily engaged in the fields of import, export, agriculture, manufacturing, and real estate. Our foundational objective centers on the comprehensive empowerment of the Ethiopian agricultural sector by addressing critical needs of stakeholders through our specialized knowledge and experience. In addition to our agricultural focus, we have expanded our operations into the real estate, leisure, and hospitality sectors.

Since the inception of our first entity, Lions International Trading PLC, in 1991, LGC has undergone significant transformation and growth, evolving into a group that comprises six principal companies: Lions International Trading PLC (LIT), Lions Agri-Mech and Engineering Service (LAMES), NONO Agricultural Development PLC (NONO), Yinabet General Agricultural and Trading PLC, HGS Offices, Adulita Conference & Spa Resort Hotel PLC and Goldia Farm. Collectively, our enterprises provide robust support across various sectors in Ethiopia.

We operate with a paid-up capital of 1 Billion Ethiopian Birr and maintain a diverse team comprising over 500 individuals, including professionals with advanced degrees from various fields, as well as seasonal and contractual employees.
